The community in the United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates has a population in which non-nationals are the large majority, drawn overwhelmingly from other Arab countries and South Asia. Nationals of Palestine form part of that population, and their presence is one of the more durable links between the two countries.
What does not belong on this page
This page does not give a population figure for the Palestine community in the UAE unless a census or official register supports it. Community-size estimates circulated in the press are frequently extrapolations with no stated method, and repeating them as fact would make this encyclopedia less reliable than the sources it draws on.
